Straughn lost the first two games both in sudden death 26-24, but rallied to take the next three for an early season area win over Opp 3 games to 2. The Bobcats won the first two games both in sudden death by the score of 26-24. The Tigers bounced back to take games three and four by scores of 25-19, and 25-21. Straughn completed the comeback with a 15-12 win in game give to take the series 3 games to 2.
For Opp Maggie Short had 18 kills and 11 digs. Addie Jacobs had 5 blocks and Bailee Boyd finished with 39 assists and 2 aces. The Bobcats committed 18 unforced errors in serving and 26 in serve receiving over the final three games.
