Catchpole, a graduated of Lee University, has four years of previous soccer coaching experience. He spent 14 years playing at the youth, club and varsity levels. His coaching career includes one year as an assistant for the University of Mobile women’s teams and several years as boys and girls coach at Cottage Hill.

Thomas is a 2016 graduate of the University of Mobile where he played on the Rams’ basketball team. He was a high school standout in soccer and basketball for Mars Hill Bible School.

“We are excited to have Trent on our staff along with coach Thomas to lead our soccer program,” Mobile Christian athletic director Joey Adams said. “We are a young program, and we fill they have the ability to develop our younger players and build a program that will be able to compete at a high level. Coach Catchpole is a proven winner and a tireless worker who we feel is a perfect fit for our program and school.”

Sherrin replaces Jackie Haines as volleyball coach. Haines stepped down to spend more time with her family. She will still be involved with the program, coaching the middle school team and working with the elementary program.
Sherrin is a graduate of Theodore High School and has coached for the Pleasure Island Volleyball club most recently. She also spent time at Foley High School as head junior varsity coach and assistant varsity coach.

“Ashley is a very energetic and enthusiastic coach passionate about the game of volleyball,” Adams said. “She loves to teach the game, and we are excited about her taking over the program. Coach Haines did a great job with our program for the past four years, and we are excited that she is going to be working to develop our younger players.”
