Coming off of a 3-0 victory over Brenau University yesterday evening, the Loyola University New Orleans volleyball team returned to First NBC Court on Saturday morning to battle Dalton State College in a Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) showdown.
The Wolf Pack kept the momentum of yesterday's victory rolling into Saturday, as they swept the Roadrunners 3-0 (25-16,25-22,25-23) for its second-straight victory.

The Wolf Pack dominated nearly all statistical categories onSaturday morning, holding the advantage in kills (47-28), assists (31-23) and digs (44-31).
Loyola was dominant throughout the match, with its only real scare coming in the third set when Dalton State jumped out to a 13-9 lead. The Wolf Pack quickly answered, and retook control of the match, with a 7-0 spurt to go up 16-13 en route to the 25-23 set victory.
Tylar Beckham (SO/New Orleans, La.) powered the Wolf Pack offense, collecting a career-high 17 kills on just 24 attempts (0.625). Maddie Huekels (SO/Dyer, In.) paced Loyola with 16 assists and added six kills playing from the setter position. Off the bench, Katie Philippi (SR/Metairie, La.) scooped up a team-high 15 digs, while Allison Hartmann (SO/Slidell, La.) chipped in 12 kills in the victory.
Anna Metzler led Dalton State with seven kills and Clarissa Weber handed out a team-high 13 assists in the loss.
The Wolf Pack return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 28, when they travel to Alabama to take on NCAA DII Spring Hill College at 6:00 p.m.
