MANILA, Philippines - The UST Golden Tigresses opened the second round of their UAAP Season 77 women's volleyball campaign with a four-set, 25-19, 25-16, 23-25, 25-15, victory over the Adamson Lady Falcons on Saturday, January 24, at the San Juan Arena.

UST freshman EJ Laure strengthened her case for Rookie of the Year with a 19-point performance while her team captain, Pam Lastimosa, pitched in with 16 points. Carmela Tunay also played well, putting up 12 markers while Marivic Meneses had 14.

UST took control of the game's first two sets, winning easily 25-19 and 25-16.
