Concordia of St. Paul, Minn., won the NCAA Division II volleyball title on Saturday in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The top-seeded Golden Bears swept Alaska-Anchorage 25-19, 25-12, 25-12 for the program’s eighth NCAA title in 10 years.
Concordia, which won its final 19 matches, ended their season 35-2 and in the final eight swept all three of its matches, also beating American International and Lewis.
Riley Hanson led Concordia with 20 kills and hit .650. Teammate Anna Schlaak, who named the MVP of the tournament, had 10 kills and hit .421.
Alaska-Anchorage ended its best season ever 34-3. Sophomore Leah Swiss led with eight kills.
Concordia advanced with a semifinals victory Friday over Lewis, while the Seawolves moved on with a win over Palm Beach Atlantic.
