BYU stays No. 1 in final regular-season VBM Mid-Major Poll

BYU remained No. 1 in the final regular-season VolleyballMag.com Mid-Major Poll.

The Cougars, who got the No. 13 seed in the NCAA Tournament, got six of the 10 first-place votes.

No. 2 Western Kentucky got two votes and No. 3 Creighton and No. 4 Hawai’i got one vote each.

The fifth spot went to Dayton, which finished the regular season with the nation’s best record at 30-1. Wichita State went from eighth to No. 6, while San Diego dropped two spots to No. 7.

There were no major improvements or drops, but Boise State jumped three spots to No. 11 and Southern Illinois fell five to No. 23.
